The Eighth House - Initiating The Tipping Point
Many astrological perspectives have long feared the eighth house, and its associations with death, hiddenness, and loss. This workshop is for anyone interested in cultivating a different relationship to eighth house themes in their life, chart, and approach to the world around them.
Together we will explore this critical tipping point in the visible sky and the wheel of the chart. In all of us lives this tipping point, an initiation of the deep realm of our experience, a place where fear begins and has the potential to either betray our own depth and expression of life, or to catapult us into an enriching journey of self, life, and intimacy.
We will use story and the map of our individual charts to find our personal guide through this threshold into darkness, and any friends who reside in that place. We will explore symbols of death and monstrousness as profound aspects of life, and look them in the eye with curiosity, peeling back the curtain to what is really underneath.
My hope for our time together is to move through the fear that many people carry around this place, and to explore the unspeakable beauty and richness of the eighth house. No astrology knowledge is required to participate. All participants are welcome, including those who know nothing about astrology or the eighth house, those with empty eighth houses, and those that know they have placements in the eighth. This is part of us all in some way.
I will soon be offering a workshop on ALL the houses together, and the journey through them, but in many ways I find the eighth to be a critical beginning point so I recommend this to anyone who might later like to take the full workshop.
